MIND: Compassion for self. Practising self-care and resilience in the chaos of the modern world. Understand stress triggers and develop tools to build resilience.
We will start by exploring the neurobiology of stress and identify stress triggers, coping mechanisms and the silent signs of stress.
Once you understand the unconscious mechanisms of stress, you will learn how to relieve pressure when you feel overwhelmed at work - or at play - and most importantly how to start building resilience.
The workshop will be held at coco studio and will include an introduction to cultivating self-compassion, combined with holistic practices including yoga, breathing exercises and guided meditation - to help access our soothing system and settle into a relaxed stress-free state.
The workshop will include a 45 minute restorative yoga class with guided meditation.
